The process
How AddressClerk gets your address found
You give us the address and show us where your home actually is. We do the rest - preparation, submission, follow-up and updates.
The short version
Four steps, from your address to a submitted correction.
Check Your Address
Tell us your address and where your home is located.
We Check the Details
We review what is missing or wrong and work out the right correction.
We Submit & Monitor
We prepare the Google Maps correction, submit it and keep track of the case.
We Keep You Updated
You receive clear email updates while the correction is being reviewed.
The full process, step by step
What actually happens between your first click and Google’s decision.
- 1
Tell us the address
Start with the free address check. Enter the address as it appears on your paperwork, including the postcode and plot or unit number if you have one.
- 2
Confirm the exact home location
On a new development the postcode alone is rarely enough. You show us precisely where your home sits, so the correction points at your door rather than at the middle of the site.
- 3
Answer a few simple questions
A short set of questions about what is currently wrong: is the address missing entirely, is the pin in the wrong place, is the road itself absent, has a correction already been rejected?
- 4
We work out the case type
We classify the case as Standard or Complex based on what actually needs doing. You do not have to diagnose it yourself, and the price you see is the price for your case.
- 5
Pay once
A single payment of £14.99 or £19.99. There is no subscription, no account to create and no repeat fee for further reasonable attempts on the same address.
- 6
We prepare and submit the correction
We put together an accurate submission through Google’s own correction process, with the location and supporting detail set out clearly.
- 7
Email updates
You hear from us when the case is submitted and whenever the status meaningfully changes. No dashboard to check, no account to log into.
- 8
Additional evidence may be requested
Some cases are stronger with supporting documents - a completion statement, a utility bill, a developer site plan. If that would help, we will ask you for it and explain why.
- 9
Google makes its review decision
Google reviews the submission and decides. It can accept it, delay it, or reject it. If it is rejected we look at why, strengthen the case and try again - at no extra cost.
What we can and cannot promise
What we do
- Check what is actually wrong with your address on Google Maps
- Pin the precise location of your home rather than the middle of the estate
- Prepare and submit the correction through Google’s own process
- Monitor the case and try again if it is rejected
- Email you when the status changes
What we do not do
- Guarantee that Google will accept a correction
- Promise a fixed turnaround we cannot control
- Carry out correction work on Apple Maps, Royal Mail or delivery platforms
- Charge you again for further reasonable attempts on the same address
- Claim any partnership with or access to Google
One payment. No repeat fees. We’ll continue making reasonable correction attempts until your legitimate address is recognised, provided Google continues to offer a correction process and you provide any evidence we reasonably need.
AddressClerk is an independent service and is not affiliated with Google. Google ultimately controls whether and when map corrections are accepted.
